How to Choose the Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner

A robot vacuum will save you lots of time and effort when it comes to regular cleaning. Top performers are good at getting rid of dust, light debris and cords.

The ones that are more expensive can even sweep your floors, but they can't climb up stairs. Choose models that have intelligent mapping, real-time hazards avoidance, and roomy self-emptying bins.

Best for Hard Flooring

Robot vacuums are the ideal choice for hardwood floors as they are able to easily maneuver around obstacles and not damage bare surfaces. They do an excellent job of picking up crumbs and dust, but they are unable to deal with pet hair and other large debris. They don't have the suction of an upright or Best Robot Vacuum a top-quality canister vacuum, making them unsuitable for deep cleaning carpeted or upholstery areas.

The best two-in-one robots combine mopping and vacuum, taking care of the entire chore in one sweep. If you have mixed flooring choose models with an onboard sensor which detects any changes in floor washing robot texture and adjusts suction accordingly.
