Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling a variety of floor types. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to self-empty, and clean up the stairs.

Many of the top models work with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or Best Robot Vacuum and Mop rugs.

Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.

The robot comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled when needed. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by defining a virtual boundary in the app). Its mopping is quite excellent, too, with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot vacuum with mop mop and automatic vacuum cleaner comes with more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently by avoiding pet hairs as well as other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to another without having to change direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a thick distance around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.

Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot vacuum cleaner best at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic vacuum cleaner water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't pick up kitty litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. The device also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
