Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model may not be as easy to set and forget as the other models.

Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. You can control all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of configurability.

A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).

Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to save time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't dirty. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the extra money on Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice when you're looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a wide range of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own and a separate water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet, and it's able to move between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we've tried.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides an impressive suction and easy automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however, it performed very well overall. It also comes with a range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take a picture of each object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and not connected to your account.

It does a great job of vaccuming, however it isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
