If you're looking to save money and don't want a stroller that doubles as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push and it feels solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored well in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions, which means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put in a trunk for your car. It also comes with the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels, as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate during our walk on the stony path. It handled the situation well, even though it felt slightly more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is a bit heavier than other strollers we tested but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's deep enough for an infant's changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.
