Cheap single standing stroller Pushchairs

If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that can double up as a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's also a breeze to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. This latest version features independent suspension on all 4 wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to 'perfectly traverse all terrains and types'.

The bent fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and the 6months of colour pack come together to create a chic pushchair with a subtle elegant look. The base frame weighs less than a kilo, and is so lightweight single stroller that it is able to be lifted from the box using just one hand.

It's also easy to attach or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors - the hood, for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 by clicking and is machine washable at 30 degrees to remove stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram starting from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller from 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents seeking a versatile stroller. The Evenflo Xplore can be transformed from a stroller into the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then select the best mode for their needs. The wagon can hold one or two children from 6 months old to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket for everything you require on the go.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This isn't ideal for long drives or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy, although it does not have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competition, and it does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable, second-hand travel single convertible stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and size folded which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as cup holders for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested but is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to assemble with an average manual, and none of the components required tools. But, it's lacking some critical features that we think you should not compromise on in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the newest model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is described as an urban travel system. It is designed to take infants from birth until around 3.5 years old, and can be converted between a seat and a carrycot in just a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to get their child in and out. This compact pushchair can handle everyday bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward-facing position, or they can rotate. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. On our walk on the stony path, we let them move and it did this quite well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain jogging strollers. However, they also produce a wide range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to fold and fits in the boot of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are water-resistant and durable, unlike some other pram hoods that get whipped back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it comes with an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of food. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene, it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's a stroller made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's first years and beyond. It's got a few notable features, including the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has an eye-shade that flips out as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to maneuver it through tight streets with ease.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also be folded and raised for easier transport down the stairs, or in the car's boot. The travel system comes offered with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are easy to use using a single stroller with standing board action, colour coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair is extremely easy to use and comes with an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also light and robust. The seat can be reclined in various positions. It also is equipped with a double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't ideal - it's not as silent as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be oriented to face the parents. This will help reduce sibling arguments about who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a massive bottle holder, a gear tray as well as snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also comes with an automatic frame lock and a compact single stroller fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect jogger for parents who love to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers for running that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with excellent safety features, including a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety strap. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models, which is an innovative twist.

The seat is well padded and provides plenty of space to sit. However, the seat depth is less than that of other runners (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin is secured with a zipper that keeps things secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as it comes, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
