Lightest Double Stroller

When you're searching for a light double-stroller, its folded size and weight are crucial aspects to take into consideration. The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our quality tests because it has a thin, hard plastic seat and a design that is dated. It's also costly compared to other lightweight strollers which is why it's not a good choice when you're looking for an economical alternative.

It's not the most light stroller but it comes with enough features that it is worth a look. Its swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it can leap over curbs with ease unlike many other light strollers that veer off course when trying to accomplish the same thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a disadvantage, however; it's nearly at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push with your legs hanging in the air like that and it's also not helping that it lacks padding.

During our tests, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to open and set up. It's a bit more complicated to close the cloud, however. You have to slide a slider and then push a large white button for it to collapse. This can be a hassle when you're trying to keep your children entertained while you do it.

The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that will be used to fit a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is small and you might have to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud comes with a parent tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too small for larger cups or bottles.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a lightweight and minimalist double stroller that's perfect to travel with. It weighs just 18 pounds which is less than some single strollers. and can fold flat for easy transport and storage. It also features independently reclining seats, large all terrain double buggy-weather SPF 50 sun visors with peekaboo windows and extra-large storage bags underneath the seat. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of various heights. It also features an integrated parking brake with one step, and is Disney-size approved.

The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also great to maneuver over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have an excellent neck control to ride on the front seat. It does come with an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however each seat comes with its own snack tray and cup holders for parents.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight side by side stroller. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's thin and slim (26.5 inches wide!) and comes with a lot of elegant features that make it perfect for travel. It folds easily, very maneuverable, and is easily able to fit in overhead compartments as well as the trunks of planes.

The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It is similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but it has a few distinct distinctions. It's a bit more expensive but offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It also has a convenient carry strap that can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.

Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+

If you're looking for a stroller that's lightweight but also loaded with features you'll find it in the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at just 13 pounds and has plenty of storage in the form of child and parent cup holders, a child sippy-cup pocket and a parent storage pocket, and more. This stroller is also compatible with a child's seat and has a brake that flips that can be easily engaged. It's designed to adapt to your children from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months old and older.

This stroller only has swivel wheels and no locking capability, so it may not be the best option for terrain that is steep or rocky. It is able to maneuver well on sidewalks that are paved and other smooth surfaces, so it's still a great choice for most families.

The stroller is light enough to to maneuver through door frames. This was a major issue with other models we tried. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground. Its only drawback is its limited storage space. When it's full of stuff for the kids it feels tight.
