The best combos we've tested have a simple fold that's one-handed and strong enough to be used for long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding smoothly over bumps and uneven surfaces. Some combos can only be attached and detached by straps. This could feel like a second step and could make it difficult for parents to secure their car seat properly.

The only issue is that they are heavy and may be difficult to lift up when carrying a baby in car seats.

Easy to Assemble

Contrary to that, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to assemble because it requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that are placed over the bottom portion of the carrier. It's also heavy, so it takes two hands to click the carrier into the base and then remove it from the base.

In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is quite fast when you consider how much time it saves by not having to remove each piece. The toddler seat can be slid into and removed easily on the majority of these models.
