The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application that is specifically designed for. You can save your home's maps as well as set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water your mop uses.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has an automatic hoover mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it goes from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. In addition the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will need to be changed periodically.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a budget, I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy but its cost and frequent maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robot automatic vacuum and mop combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have several impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps the robot clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
