Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item upgrader kit like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any money wasted won't get compensated.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment in three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item upgrading is reached.

Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item upgrades at a time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will put an item level upgrade in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
