Buying a Pram Newborn

Parents and caregivers can depend on prams and pushchairs to be versatile and multi-functional. They are the co-pilots of your child's next adventure.

A pram newborn is designed for newborns and babies. It has an incredibly sturdy, deep carrycot with soft and secure walls.

A pram is equipped with a bassinet, however it can be converted into a twin stroller when the baby is ready.

Safety

Newborns are incredibly fragile and must be kept as secure as possible. A stroller or pram that has safety features will keep your baby secure and comfortable while traveling. The basic requirements for any stroller or pram are a functioning brake, a five-point safety harness (2 shoulder straps, two waist straps, and a strap for the crotch) and the wrist tether strap that is for the person pushing the pram. Most prams that can be used from birth will include the seat unit, which will recline into a lie-flat pram mode for infants and transform into a pushchair unit for older children.

You should be able to store bags for shopping and changing under the pram (but keep in mind that too much weight can cause it to topple over).
