This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It is also able to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop).

Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas robots that vacuum and mop other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features, this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option when you're looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features including self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to take care of tangled rug tassels and its battery drains a little quicker than other models in our tests.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming however, it performed very well. It also offers a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for carpeted rooms. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny spaces. It's quiet and quick, and it does a good job of getting around tight spots. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they will not be picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
