The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a budget and don't require a cheap single stroller which can also be used as car seat carrier. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland pathways. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is due to its extremely nimble handling and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents who want a versatile stroller wagon. It transforms from a stroller into a wagon just by flipping the handle, meaning parents can choose the mode they prefer for their trip. The wagon can hold one or two kids from 6 months to 5 years, and it comes with a large storage basket for everything you require on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that move from front to back, providing ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This isn't suitable for long trips or naps.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex as much as other wagons that we test. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the other models and it doesn't lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store in a trunk for your car. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of the push and turn it performed better than many of the other cheap single stroller strollers we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven terrain or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopies.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and no components required tools. It's missing certain features we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

It is really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps well and was able to pass through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or let them swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. On our walk through the stony trail, we let them swivel and it did this quite well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also make a good assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is a bit heavier than other strollers that we tried, but the wheels are rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to carry even with two children and shopping bags.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other prams' hoods which are turned back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to take a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

It folds down in four easy steps and locks automatically without hassle. It can also be folded and raised for easier transportation down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the ability to add a car seat or carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes come with a single buggy action and are colour coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single standing stroller pushchair is extremely easy to use and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also extremely light and robust. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be placed so that they face each the other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This should reduce sibling disputes over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large gear tray, a bottle holder and snack trays. It also has a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal stroller for parents who like to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with great safety features like a 5-point harness as well as a safety wrist strap. It also has a twist hand brake that's different than the lever type found on competing models.

The seat is padded and provides a wide area to sit. However the seat's depth is less than that of other joggers (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin is encased with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds. It is enough for most diaper bags.
