WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level upgrade (http://www.e10100.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=1975387) level by 3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for the latter because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item upgrades that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the equipment being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to improve the quality of weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They can be bought by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will display an item's preview when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and current item level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers, for instance. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Upgraders for items can be found in a variety of locations, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount as well as a chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a couple of choices. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are an important component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

For instance, once an item is at the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change lets players upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests only have one purpose, so it's important to make use of them in a responsible manner. It is best to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially relevant for items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount for the entire account is only applicable when all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
