World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and the enchantments of items.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They are available from the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button is located on any item. Every item level upgrade recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapon

When an item level upgrade is upgraded, it is granted an initial damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional attributes or effects and some even have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, and they generally require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.

In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.

Once the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade, it can then be reforged to add different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. A variety of these upgrades can be re-applied simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the nature of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage a weapon deals.

It is generally recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats as required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before any other gear, as this can increase DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as rewards for Item upgrades quests.

The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time, a piece of armor will be upgraded to next level once an upgrade is applied. The majority of armor types are upgradeable, however some items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.

Most armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in the item's defense or strength. However, some upgrade components can offer significant improvements in strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.

Some upgrades provide special abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also offer passive effects, such as decreasing the amount of damage taken when wearing armor, or giving you a a chance to dodge attacks.

Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item could require several tries. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade items an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77 and it goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief, armor is not useless in The Division 2. The truth is that some armors come with very substantial increases in poison or curse, fire, or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for certain types of builds. There are also ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration, or the challenger trait that reduces the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another level of effects from the potion and is able to be repeated to increase the potency.

The potions also gain a custom color, which can be chosen by the player using the /give. This color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, the mundane thick and awkward potions now have a new brewing texture. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion to the Creative inventory. The addition of lingering potions which can be brewed using Dragon breath or splash potions. Additionally, there is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a ring or necklace. It could also be a small banner to mark the yard of a boat. It can also refer to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a ship.

This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more prevalent. This trinket at its current level makes all types of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a probability of Y% that it will contain an ebony-colored replica. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of producing water and grass. This trinket at the current level, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or other items that are created to aid in the elimination of danger rooms.

This item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph, seems to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond simply reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potions and wells of life by X%, and gives you mind-sight on enemies within Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters and in chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket that is random, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reforge the Trinket multiple times as often as you wish, however it will always have an impact that is different from the one that it had when you forged it.

You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, however it will increase the power of the trinket by a tiny amount.
