WoW Upgrades - The item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. A random extra substat is also increased with every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or [Redirect Only] a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the Best item upgrader however they'll always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that are used to improve the quality of weapons, tools, armor, and other items.
