Problem: All smart keys of BMW CAS2 are lost, new smart key can't start car and can't do remote functions.

Solution: Program new remote key with Autel IM508+ XP400 Pro.

Steps:

Connect XP400 Pro to MaxiIM IM508, then connect IM508 to vehicle's OBDII port

Insert new remote, turn hazard lights to prevent car from going into sleep mode.

Tap IMMO>> BMW>> Auto Select>> Press Read button to get VIN

Check vehicle information

It's a 730LI E66 M54 2003 CAS2.

View Vehicle Info>> Control Unit>> CAS2 Immobilizer>> Vehicle Info

Frequency: 315Mhz

Key Code: HA00028050

Back to IMMO Status Scan

SCAN IMMO STATUS...

Qty CAS Keys: 3

Check the information: Qty Keys: 3 Frequency: 315Mhz.

Select All Keys Lost (Guided)

Make sure the device is successfully connected to the Internet WiFi

Turn on ignition

Can't turn on because there is no valid key

Select SEMI>> SMART

Press Start to go through the All Keys Lost (Guided) process

Connect Autel XP400 Pro and insert the new key into the coil hole

Press OK

Generate Key

After the new key is successfully generated, insert the key into the vehicle slot and start the engine once.

The key can start the engine now

Press Yes to confirm the key can start the engine

Re-immune status scan

Key quantity is now 4.

Finally, test the new remote. It works fine.
