Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment into three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the Best item upgrade. The system is a great way for players who want to get an edge in battle but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item upgrader mod reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or item upgrader Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade Tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide additional effects or an increase in level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or Item Upgrader karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item upgrader kit in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
