Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below lists reserved time periods - not confirmed exams. Please confirm with your teacher whether or not the final exam for the course will be held during this time period.

Before registering, make sure to read the Goethe exam guidelines and the terms and conditions on each individual exam page. Also, make sure you sign up for the right exam level.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Check out the individual exam pages for more details on exam content, exam terms and conditions, and additional guidelines. If you require special accommodations due to a chronic illness or visual or hearing impairment, contact the exam provider directly and be sure to provide detailed documentation at the time of registration.

Faculty may find their exam times via the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a list of exam times for classes that must take an exam as per NYSED regulations. Registration

Please take note that the fee for exams is non-refundable. Examination results are only available via email and not by telephone.
