The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport Utility is the perfect stroller for parents who want to step off the beaten track and exercise. This jogging stroller comes with pneumatic knobby wheels that are great for trail runs, and a handbrake that lets you to control the downhills. The biggest drawback to this stroller for jogging is its weight and size when folded. It weighs 25 pounds and folds down to 17,850 cubic inch, which is the average for this class. Its size makes it unsuitable for tight turns or small trunk space. It does however have an incredibly small handle at the back of the storage bin that can be pulled to collapse the stroller into a compact flat position.

The stroller is easy to maneuver, despite its size. The front wheel is equipped with a locking mechanism which lets you switch from normal to locked running mode. The handlebar can be adjusted to different parent heights. It also has a large seat that can recline to nearly flat, and has a large, vinyl peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close.

Another major benefit is the Sport Utility's impressive quality, which earned it a 9 out of 10 in this measurement. It features a sturdy aluminum frame, with strong connections and has no rough edges or weak stitching. It also has adjustable dampers which help with the smooth rolling performance.

As with the other BOB strollers in this review the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that allow you to use it with various infant car seats. In our tests, it took around 5:24 minutes to assemble the stroller from packing it up to being ready to run. The assembly was easy however, you'll require a Philips screwdriver. The manual included is well-organized and easy to follow, but it's a good idea just to have one in the case.

Consumer Reports' Strollers test program shows that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is a good value for its price and scores higher than many of its competitors across several categories. The 5-point harness folds, unfolds backrest, adjusting the backrest, engaging wheel brakes, and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It's designed to have an easy recline with one hand, which is deep enough to allow sleep. However the canopy cover that ratchets isn't always easy to keep in place. It also takes almost 8 minutes to put it up and the instructions are confusing, with several languages mashed together and hard-to-understand illustrations.

The only downside to this stroller is that it doesn't have a suspension system, so the ride may be bumpier than other all-terrain strollers we've tested. This could cause discomfort for children, particularly if they are on the verge of napping. It does have air-filled tires but they don't have as much shock absorption as the rubber wheels you find on higher-end strollers.

This is an excellent option for those who don't run often, but still want to be able to easily move over gravel or grass without worrying about obstructions like curbs or other obstacles. It's also a great choice for families with a limited space as it folds up into a compact unit. It's lighter than a lot of the other joggers that we've tested, and will fit in places where some full-size strollers cannot.

Another benefit is that it's much easier to carry and lift than the larger joggers we've tried. This is crucial if it's something you lift out and into your trunk frequently or if you are always moving.

The red handlebar comes with a secondary lock that can be opened with just one hand.
