Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

The upgrading of your item is an essential element to maximize the power of your gear. It lets you add bonus stats onto the value of your item's base level.

Each upgrade template comes with an array of options that can be changed through the edition GUI. These options include upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading weapons and armor in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components are available throughout Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot available. When you choose an item to upgrade the game will display an image of what the expected statistics will be after upgrading, item upgrader kit and the component or material needed. If you don't have the level or resource to upgrade an item, the button will read "Blocked."

Weapons and armor can be upgraded, as well as some trinkets as well as gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on any item, granting bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is used. These upgrades are available through crafting, bought from a seller, or taken as rewards.

There are two types of gemstones and universal upgrades. Recycled Items

To roll an item again you need to click the dice icon next to the item upgrader kit you have in your inventory. You can also hit the button on a player's lobby, and then select "Reroll". After you have rerolled the item, it will be removed from your collection.

You can buy rerolls and other in-game items from Sagbe, an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls by redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be redeemed for a variety items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.

These rerolls can be useful early in the game when you are building your inventory. However, they are not the most effective way to improve your character's stats. Instead, you should concentrate on getting more skill points. You can also earn bonus points for completing event tiers.

You can also reroll the race of your character by using a race-reroll token which can be purchased from the Zen Market. This token lets you change your race at any time and can be redeemed through specific pack purchases or the Token Shop. You can also get it as a reward when you complete Meg’s cases during the Port Sarim Invasion event.

Leveling

Upgrading an item in an upgrade process boosts its power level and stats. However it can also increase the cost of upgrades and requires a certain amount of materials to complete the process. The type of material required will depend on the type of item. For instance, weapons utilize a mixture of Destruction Stones and Guardian Stones. The NPC will display an Upgrade option when the item reaches its maximum level. This enables the player to upgrade the item to the next level by combining it with experience. If the upgrade is currently in progress while the upgrade is taking place, the NPC will display a window containing two lines. The Upgrade NPC also offers the option of transferring gear. The Upgrade NPC can also offer a gear transfer service. This allows players to save their experience and upgrade progress on a piece and transfer it to a new item level upgrade that is in the same slot. This is useful for players who want to upgrade their gear but don't have enough money to buy a brand new set.
