WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the item upgrader Mod however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new equipment. For example upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other accessories. They are purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be used on any weapon or tool using an button, which displays an image of the item when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades offer a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount it is able to be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Item upgraders can be found in many places including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded, and can be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW players have a variety of choices. They can use Flightstones, which are a common upgrade currency available to all players, or crests that are more specialized and item upgrader Mod are consumed during upgrades on specific levels of items. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests can only be used on gear of a specific rank, and each rank has its own requirements for its upgrade path. The most basic and straightforward upgrade route costs 15 crests while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and engaging in outdoor activities for lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons of all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons to obtain endgame gear. The crests can then be exchanged with an upgrader such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and pathways.

The use of these currencies isn't that difficult however, the system does introduce some changes to the overall upgrade process. For example, once an item is at the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. For instance it's Best item upgrader to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the Best item upgrade gear you have available and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan to create. This is particularly true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The account-wide discount is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
