Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment increases the stats linearly.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time to gain an indicator of the level of the item's upgraded components. The cost of recycling an item scales with its rarity and level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade of an item can be a method to increase the stats of your weapons and armor. This can be accomplished by various methods, including the use of upgrade components and also increasing an item's mark level or rarity. Many items can also be reforged to boost their stats.

Upgradeable items are available throughout the game, both within the world and as rewards for missions. Players can also make them. Upgrade components are the main way to upgrade equipment. These are items that can be inserted into equipment. Most equipment has slots that can be upgraded, and many require a certain amount of upgrade. The amount of upgrade item components needed for a particular item is displayed in the upper-right corner of the Upgrade window. The cost of upgrading increases with the upgrade level and rarity, but it can be reduced through a variety of methods, including purchasing upgrades at a merchant or trading them with other players.

Almost all weapons can be upgraded with an upgrade to a prefix, such as an insignia, or a rune, and many can be upgraded with a suffix upgrade. These upgrades can be used to add an adjective to the name of the item level upgrade, such as "Radiant" or "Minor Vigor".

Glyphs

Glyphs can also increase the likelihood of remembering the message by triggering a familiarity in the brain.

Each glyph increases the value of a stat by a certain amount. This is shown on the item, when you open it in the Glyph Storage. This is the highest value that the glyph can increase a stat's value by but not the amount it actually increases it by. The actual value of the glyph is determined by the tier and the quality of the product you are in awe of it.

The majority of upgrade components that are inserted into items can't be removed or replaced without removing them except for legendary equipment and upgrades. If you have a glyph or rune you don't want to use, but it's not been applied to the gear yet, you can transfer the item to another piece by using the Upgrade Glyphs menu within the Glyphs Panel. This will create an entirely new Glyph Set with the selected glyph.

You can take out the glyph using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or an Ascended Salvage tool. The item where the glyph is placed will be destroyed, but the upgraded item can be salvaged with the glyph shards.

A glyph added to an item can cause it to become unstable, and the shards of the glyph will disappear from your inventory once you take it down. You can also add a glyph on your equipment to give it a bonus. Deferred Damage, for example can be used to store damage and be distributed slowly to the wearer rather than all at one time. This is helpful for those who take a lot of damage from their enemies however do not want to be overwhelmed.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to alter the affixes that are placed on equipment and weapons. They can be obtained from various sources, such as mysterious boxes and rare drops from skulled monsters, or by killing bosses. Reroll tokens give the player a new random affix that is usually better than the original one. Reroll tokens can also be a good option to reroll stats on weapons, which can be upgraded to increase damage or perks.

Items that have been rerolled will not appear in the item upgrade menu, however, they can still receive upgrades. When you press the "upgrade button" you can recycle these rerolled items. Leveling
