World of Warcraft - Item upgrade items

Item upgrade item allows players to raise the item level of armor and weapons that can be equipped. This increases the stats of that equipment, and also sometimes adding buffs or rolling an affix again.

It is important to keep in mind that upgrading common gear is not always worth it. Unique and rare equipment will quickly surpass upgraded magic and common equipment.

Cost

The player must pay gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item depends on the item's current level and the type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are usually less expensive than upgrades to armor since weapons have less requirements. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.

An upgraded item will also come with increased stats, which could boost its performance in a variety of ways. This may include boosting its attack strength or critical strike chance. The upgraded item can also add additional benefits to the weapon it is equipped with. These upgrades are able to increase the overall power of a group or unit, and may significantly impact the gameplay.

Any item upgrader NPC can be found in the game. Typically, these NPCs are located in capital cities or major questing areas. You can also find upgraders of items by visiting dungeons that have high-level bosses, and speaking to NPCs in garrisons of your faction.

The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players upgrade the level of armor, weapons and trinkets. This process is largely identical to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Item upgrading Warlords of Draenor however instead of using the appropriate currency, players must visit an NPC to upgrade their items to complete the process.

Upgrades can be expensive particularly for armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade path you select, each item level increase will cost Crests or Valorstones. The cost can be prohibitive for players who don't have the resources, or are unwilling to grind.

Fortunately, the game lets players roll an upgraded item using a special tool in the menu of items. This option allows you to replace the upgraded item with a level 1 version that has different bonuses. This can be useful to get better rolls on items that have been upgraded, but can be a waste of resources.

Requirements

The process of upgrading items that are equippable like weapons, armor and trinkets is to raise the level of the item. This can boost their effectiveness which makes them more powerful in battle. Players can upgrade gear by spending appropriate currencies at a NPC who sells upgrades for items. However, players should be aware that certain upgrades have special requirements.

Early upgrades only increase the effectiveness of the base item by one level. Later upgrades give significant boosts. Upgrades from levels 3 to 6 will increase the weapon's damage plus two levels. Additionally, the upgraded item will receive bonus stats, which is based on the tier it's in. The bonus is a combination of a guarantee extra substat and a random statistic that will change in value from upgrade to upgrade.

A player can reroll an upgraded item by using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new one. The new item will come with a different set of extra bonuses and an lower base level. The rerolled item is also likely to have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled item does not keep its original strength or any of its wasted resources.

Certain upgraded items can only be rerolled if the original item was Unique Epic, Rare or Rare. Exceptional items can also be rerolled, but the original stats are replaced with a flat-rate bonus. Rerolling an item that is Rare or Item upgrading Epic item will result in a Normal version, and rolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.

Upgraded items can come with additional adjustments that can boost their performance and improve their stats. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade cost. They can be purchased at the Trading Post, or through other players. Alternatively, they can be earned through completing certain missions in the game.

To upgrade an equipment piece, you need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. Time

Items upgrades can be used to increase the stats of your gear and ship without the need to level them. While it's not expensive, it is an excellent way to increase your stats without having spend a lot of time in battle. It's essential to know the benefits and costs of upgrades to your item before investing your time or money.

Each upgrade boosts the stats of the item's base by a certain amount and offers the chance of obtaining a bonus substat. The additional substat is randomly assigned, and can vary from a slight increase in one statistic to a much greater boost in another. Focus on the items that perform best in slot first. They will bring greater return for your investment.

You can see the time required to complete an upgrade by opening your inventory and selecting an item such as a ship, weapon or accessory. During the upgrade process, an item will gradually grow closer to the next level, but it is not always able to reach its full upgrade bar. This process consumes Growthstones and Sollant, but there is an opportunity to obtain a fully upgraded item with only one cycle of growth. The more levels an item attains, the greater its boosted stats value and the more items it can upgrade to.

Upgrade components can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. By selecting the item and pressing the green button with a a rerolling arrow the player can reroll it to create an upgradeable item. This alters the layout of the item's window, and allow players to choose up to six items to "recycle". The item will be replaced with an item of level 1. Recycled items won't keep their level, nor the resources used to upgrade it.

An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its tier and the quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded up to level nine, whereas common items can only be upgraded up to level six. Item upgrades are added to the item level upgrade's base statistics, meaning that they won't increase after a certain point.
