Goethe-Zertifikat zasady egzaminu a1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below shows reserved time periods, not exams that have been confirmed. Check with your instructor if your course will be taking its final exam in this time.

Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. However, it is important to note that the final exam schedule may be altered at any time. Students should therefore inquire with their instructors to confirm the exact time and date of their test. Students should also be certain to print the official list and bring it with them for their exams.

In addition to the exam schedule, students must familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines, the terms and conditions. These are available on the individual exam pages. Students acknowledge that they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of registration.

Exam sites try their best to accommodate students with special requirements. The nature and severity of these needs should be declared on the registration form, and then confirmed by an attestation of a doctor. The locations for the exam must adhere to confidentiality.

If a student is scheduled to take three examinations scheduled for the same day it is recommended to contact their instructor or department to arrange an alternate exam. It is possible to take three examinations on the same day. However, this could cause a lot of stress and can affect the quality. Additionally, the instructor might not be able to give a makeup exam on a different day.

Students must review the course material prior to taking the test and work on their German skills. The exam is a paper test that measures your ability to read and write German.
