Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment gives a linear increase in a given stat.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time to gain a level gauge for each of the item's upgraded components. The cost of recycling items increases with their rarity and item level.

Upgrade components
