The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in one go. Its suction motor of 8,000pa is quick at picking up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease out debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, robot vacuums That mop though not by much. The mop rotates at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into tight corners or along baseboards. Those same front arms can be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It doesn't create the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install, and it works well. However, if you are buying this vacuum solely to mop it is important to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful machine for cleaning with a wide range of features.

The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want a smart robot that can do both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our test, but it comes with some distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its huge dock, which doubles as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base has a few control buttons that allow you to manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot vacuum that vacuums and mops or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to toggle the child lock, which is a nice option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni like other robotic cleaner and mop vacuums, uses its camera to spot obstacles and furniture in its path. It will stay clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets caught in an obstacle like a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. Although this is not a common occurrence, it was a frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert in its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for the market that is dominated by boxy models.
