WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item that is used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item however, they are always cheaper than buying new equipment. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with the help of button, which will show an item's preview when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot of the item and the current item level upgrade level. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain degree, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Item upgraders can be found in many places, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and the chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or quests.

Using these new currencies isn't that difficult however, the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade item process. When a piece of equipment has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests in a wise manner, as they have only one purpose. For instance, it's Best item upgrader to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the Best item upgrader gear you have available and keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you plan on making.
