John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for such an item. She also liked how it was positioned in the bedroom, and believed that the grey color will work well in modern homes. She did point out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it could create an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside sleeper cot crib is designed to ensure a good night's rest. It comes with an adjustable side rail that can be easily adjusted to feed your child in the evening without disturbing them or getting out of bed. This is ideal for mothers who breastfeed! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or for travel.

We love the fact that it's made of soft materials that have breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and ease of use. It comes in oak or charcoal with a variety of melange fabrics that blend with a variety of styles. Anna found that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured to ensure security. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support number if you encounter any issues.

The CoZee crib comes with all the features you would expect from a crib to your bed, including the ability to connect it to your bed using a stay-in-place connection system. It also has six height settings. In addition there is an incline feature that can be used to help babies with congestion or reflux. It's also machine washable, a must for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that comes with having a newborn!

If you're looking to keep your baby close to you during the first six months when they're learning to sleep independently, the CoZee is a great choice because it can be used as a stand-alone cot, changing table or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension pack, it could be transformed into an crib. Although it can't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it will rock them and send them off.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's most expensive options, however it comes with a lot of features. It's designed as a side sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel with a new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and feet that retract to installation under any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access the side panel provides that can be lowered and raised by pressing the button. This was an enormous help during night time feeds, as it meant they could reach into and pick up their baby without waking them.

It is possible to lower the side panel by it's own, however this is not recommended, since it increases the likelihood that your child could get out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the parent's bed correctly. This is a great feature to have for peace mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It also comes with an option to tilt to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode that can soothe them back to sleep after feeding. It is also very large bedside crib and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it does have quite an extensive instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, however, it is easily moved from one room to another. It's also foldable into a travel cot bedside crib bag which is great when you need to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel didn't flex as much compared to other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to observe your baby from the bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're in search of a crib for your bed that will develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth looking into. It's a crib for co-sleeping that attaches securely to your bed and can be converted into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and enhancing the bond between you and your new born.

Unlike some other models of bedside crib to cot cribs The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view as well as the hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress maximize airflow and keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope can help ease reflux and colic. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby or soothe them at night.

Although it doesn't rock, or have additional features like a sound system the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functionality make it a great addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
