Another issue we had was with its smart features, specifically the mapping function and the digital keep-out zones. It was good at keeping our furniture legs and shoes away, but it was easily hung up on cables, socks and carpets. That's why we chose not to include it on our Best Buy list. However, with a reasonable price tag and impressive performance, the Scout RX3 is worth considering if you're looking for an alternative to traditional uprights.
