The John Lewis elementary is a great choice for parents looking for a sleek frame that lasts a long time. It's more expensive than some of the other options we've seen but it includes a matching changing table and wardrobe which means you can outfit your nursery in one trip. It's also easy to assemble, and has three mattress heights for your baby to develop into. It also has teething rails and a drawer that neatly slips under to ensure that you don't need to lose precious floor space.

It's worth noting that you'll have to purchase a separate mattress for this crib bed, so make sure to budget accordingly. A quality mattress can be purchased for less than PS100. This isn't an enormous cost. The only downside is that you might be unable to find an ideal fit due to the fact that the cot is an oval shape, however there are plenty of different kinds of mattresses that can be suitable for it.
