Path of Exile Item Upgrading

In Path of Exile, item upgrading is among the most effective ways to upgrade your gear without relying upon massive drops or trade. This article will show you how to upgrade your items.

Upgrades to equipment provide a bonus on the item's stats. This bonus scales with the upgrade component's level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components make your armour and weapons stronger. You can locate them by destroying enemies, purchasing them from karma vendors or finding them in item-spheres.
