It can drive close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when driving over rugs or carpets with a short pile. It struggled a bit when it encountered longer-pile carpets as well as some long, thick mess of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to start right out of the box, and it just requires just a few minutes of mapping to learn about your home.
