Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item upgrade can be used to transform certain Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be found in weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, based on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attribute bonuses while the equipment is being utilized. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is at a certain level. Some upgrade items have special visual effects that can be seen when they are applied. Infusions are used in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enhancements are used for some ascended back items. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be used into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both can be removed and replaced.

Insignias and enchantments will display their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, item upgrader kit fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters, as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats which will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by additional bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will display a window with the Glyphs that are available to you. You are only able to apply the correct Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.

You can level up Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it is able to be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a glyph has been upgraded to its desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated bonus, and also boost other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and this is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses when certain conditions are met, so they're worth looking out for too.

If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of perspectives. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a process in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to pull an item upgrader kit or character you are interested in. It can be done in order to level up faster, or to get better loot such as a new weapon for your character. Many players will play until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of strength. It could be that they like the style or the personality of the character.

When you reroll, it is important to ensure that the changes you are making are safe. This means you should check locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development test. Upload the patch with a clear distinction to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls can be weeks or days long, depending on how lucky you are. To cut down on time be sure to avoid enemy camps that are not required during this period. In addition you should not re-do any quests that can be completed later in the game. This can save time and energy.

When rerolling, it's essential to be aware the upgrade item system. There are several ways to boost your character's strength and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is important to understand the limitations of the upgrade system.

Sets

A set is an object collection with 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets permit operations like union, intersection and distinction.

If you upgrade a set item, it is an upgraded version that is superior to the previous version. This means that armor and weapons will have a higher defense value and lower requirement for strength.

Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets to parity with those in higher-tier sets. For instance upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.

However, it's important to note that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff are already exceptional in their own way and don't require any upgrades. Some items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may benefit from an upgrade to improve their performance. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
