World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses

The upgrade to an item is a kind of enchantment that increases the stats of specific weapons or armor. This includes secondary stats such as Leech or Speed.

A special item for evolution that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. This item is available at Pokestops or Gyms.

Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment and offer lower bonuses compared to other components that are specific to the type of equipment.

Leveling

Upgrades allow players to upgrade items by increasing their levels. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also improved by the level increase. Every level increase increases a stat on the item by +1 and gives an additional bonus that is based on the tier of the item. These bonuses range from +3 bonus, to a +1 bonus to a random buff.

Each item is limited to a specific number of upgrades. However, after an upgrade item the item can be transferred to a higher-leveled item that is of equal or greater value.

This system is useful for players who want to purchase equipment that has a specific amount of stats prior to purchasing an item that is new. The transfer system is very user-friendly and allows the player to save up on upgrade materials.

Upgrade materials are gathered as players clear their content and are used to improve or replace an item. Every item requires a specific type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, for instance Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.

It is crucial to upgrade items to improve a character's performance. However it is equally important to think about how much it will cost. Each time an item is upgraded, it costs an amount of gold which could be better spent on the purchase of a new piece of equipment. This is why it is best to upgrade only the most essential items in any given scenario.

This means upgrading the weapon, then the chest, legs and the helm. If the player is able to afford it, upgrading trinkets should also be done at this point to maximize their potential for procs. For instance, a top-of-the-line Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading due to the increased damage from its procs. However, certain trinkets are not worth upgrading in the absence of significant improvements in a specific build. This is especially true for some breakpoint gear used for high-value stats like IAS or FHR.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a method that lets players alter the stats of the weapon, armor or ring, based on the type. It can be used to add new bonuses or replace existing ones. It can also be used to change the item's power base.

Rerolling is an effective way to increase your power in the initial phases of the game, it's not a mandatory element of the game. Once you reach your level 6 upgrade goal it's generally better to reroll and discover the Best item upgrade upgrades you can or save cash for the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a robust collection of items at the time you reach the level 9 upgrade goal.

The process of rerolling is similar to the level up system. Reroll tokens are a way to remove a Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. Reroll tokens unlike Level Up do not reset the item's level. This means that when you reroll an upgraded item, it will not be at the same level and not have its bonus.

In addition to rerolling, players may use a special technique called Eliminate to remove any one Level Up option from their weapons or equipment. This is helpful in the event that you have a poor gacha result or want to reroll a five-star model. To do this, you'll require an account from scratch or sign up through social media.

Similarly, there is an Occultist in each town who can be contacted to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is useful if have a five-star unit that you want to improve or an elite four-star character that you're struggling with.

Rerolling tokens can be obtained by completing specific quests. These can be purchased from the Occultist for 300 gold or you can find them in the holozon containers that are dropped after the completion of certain dungeons. You can reroll any weapon, armor, or ring simply by moving the icon on the page of your item with the lock in the desired slot.

Sets

A set is a set of items that share some similarity. You will use sets on a regular basis for things like dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are useful because they let you organize things, and also operations like intersection, union and distinction help you manage them efficiently. Sets can be used in many ways, such as organizing music on a play list or classifying students based on their grades.

In Nioh the game, Sets are used to create special effects when players are wearing pieces of a set of armor. These bonuses are referred to as Set Bonuses and they are superior to Effects. While it's not explained in-universe why the armor sets need to be worn together to create these additional effects, they provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses are available in a variety of locations throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.

Set Bonuses are a part of every piece of equipment in a Set. The tooltip at the bottom of the item will inform you what Set Bonuses are available. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box with the red border.

Some of these set bonuses are only available for certain equipment. For instance, if you have the complete Phantom Armor set you will get +8 defense (compared to the usual +3 defense offered by most equipment). Certain sets are only available through completing specific tasks or by purchasing them from the Auction House.

It is possible to earn Set Bonuses for several items of equipment simultaneously. For instance, if you own the entire Kestra's Descent set and the matching parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will get the + version of that set's bonus when you meet it.

Set Bonuses are the same, despite the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. If an item's exemplar is too low, then the set bonus won't work.

Set bonuses

Set bonuses are a special effect that are available on a gear set which can provide a boost in combat. They are only available on the Test Realm. However, the number of set bonuses is expected to increase once the update is out. For example, the incredibly popular 7 school specific Dragoon's gear will have its bonus added as soon as the update is live.

While Set Bonuses do not stack within the same set, they can stack between different sets. This is great for players who wish to mix sets in the most efficient way. However, it requires some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item upgrader kit of equipment, so you must be cautious when putting them in.

It is important to know that the value of the set's bonus won't change regardless of whether your exemplar level is more than three levels lower than the minimum level that is allowed for an enhancement. Purple (Very Rare) Sets PvP sets, set-ups for PvP and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this requirement, and their set bonuses work regardless of the exemplar level of an item.
