Top Rated Robot Vacuums

iRobot suggests cleaning the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or clutter it might encounter. The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin, which eliminates the main sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to start or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. Once connected to these services, we were able give the i7+ voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." It's capable of sucking up all kinds of debris in our testing, and it frequently goes over the same areas multiple times to give a thorough clean. Its flat front design allows it to reach corners and the edges of walls.

Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it's not equipped with the mapping capability of more sophisticated models like our top choices, the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. It can get stuck on cords for phones or furniture that is low and is often unable to supply power before returning to its original location.

The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 in that it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtration system, incurs lower cost of recurring costs, has more advanced automation capabilities and can better navigate itself.
