Path of Exile Item Upgrading

item upgrader upgrading allows players to upgrade their weapons and gear with new affixes, increasing the base stats of the item or giving additional benefits. To upgrade items, the player must have the item in their inventory and have access to the kiln.

Items with weak bases, such as rings can be upgraded to more robust bases. Items with strong bases, such as eth Titans have little changes in their stats.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons and gathering tools. They give you an attribute bonus or an additional benefit, while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, gathered in loot, dropped by enemies or as a reward from missions or chests. Some upgrades additionally have special cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require the equipment to be above a certain point before they can be upgraded.

To upgrade an armor, weapon or other item in the game, the player must select it and click the Upgrade button in the toolbar. The preview will appear on the right side of the screen showing what the expected upgrade statistics will be, as well as the element or material required to complete the upgrade.
