Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is an item that makes certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It's often given as a prize in Pokemon GO events.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to look up and insert these unique characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the item you have selected. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the selected item upgrader kit. Every weapon or jewelry piece has its own collection of Glyphs.

You can upgrade your Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph attains level 15 it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node for every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a Glyph is elevated to the desired level You can activate it by selecting it and upgrade items then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will offer its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board.
