Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The stats of an item are improved through upgrading it, also referred to as "upping". Each upgrade increment boosts the stats linearly.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time to gain a level gauge for each of the upgraded components. The cost of recycling items increases depending on their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

An upgrade for an item in Guild Wars 2 is a procedure that can improve the stats of your weapons and armor.
