The i3+ isn't able to feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we have test. It may get stuck on power cords or socks and have trouble moving between surfaces, such as hardwood and rug.

iRobot suggests that you clean the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or top rated robot vacuum other items it may encounter. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dust bin and filter clean so that they aren't clogged by dirt. We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning session and move around the room, and even vacuum an area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. When connected, we were able to give the i7+ voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and monitoring performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world filled with vacuums that are cordless and look like minivans or top rated robot Vacuum buses, this small Dyson model is an old-fashioned sports car. It is powerful enough to replace a traditional stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate around your home, but it isn't equipped with the mapping capabilities of more sophisticated models like our top choices, the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. As a result, it may get stuck on things like phone cords and low furniture, and it frequently is power-depleted before returning to its home base.

The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 in that it has fewer components that require regular cleaning, is outfitted with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, incurs lower recurring cost, has more advanced automation capabilities and is better able to navigate its own. It also has a bigger dustbin and charges quicker.

The sleek best robovac X8 has a superior battery longevity than the Roomba 694. It also has physical boundaries strips and can be controlled using the voice assistant on your smartphone. It's also more durable, has a stronger motor, and can perform better on low-pile and bare floors.
