It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single move. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating well. To do this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning requirements. 3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other messes. The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.

Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 still has the best automatic vacuum and mop vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic vacuum and mop robot water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to pick up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also features a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of and is a great feature.
