Evolution Korea

In the past the Korean scientific community was hesitant about engaging with creationists for fear of giving the movement more credence. However, silence is no anymore an option.

The STR has been fighting to get information about evolution from textbooks including the discovery that the feathered Archaeopteryx was an ancestral bird. But this is merely one aspect of the evolution of the developmental paradigm.

What is Evolution?

The theory of evolution is a scientific one that explains the evolution of the genetic characteristics of living organisms over time. The theory is based on the fact that living things adapt to their surroundings and this can lead to changes in genes or even complete genomes. These changes could over generations result in the development of new species. Natural selection is the most popular theory of evolution. It describes how individuals with advantageous traits survive and reproduce more than those with less favorable traits. This variation in reproduction could be a catalyst to the development and emergence of new species.

The term "evolution" comes from the Latin word meaning unrolling or revealing. However, the concept itself has had many different meanings over the years as it has taken form in the fields of science and in other fields. Some early evolutionists, like Jean Baptiste de Lamarck and 에볼루션 바카라 무료체험 Erasmus Darwin (Charles's grandfather) believed that existing species transformed into other species in a predetermined fashion.
