Evolution Korea

Up until recently the Korean scientific community was hesitant about engaging with the creationists out of fear of giving the movement more credibility. The silence is no longer an alternative.

What is Evolution?

Evolution is a theory of science that explains the evolution of genetic characteristics of living organisms over time. It is vital to remember, however, that the evidence in favor of evolution is overwhelming. The evidence for evolution comes from many sources, including fossils, genetics and the behavior of living creatures. Other scientists independently verify the evidence.

The majority of scientists support the theory of evolution. The reasons behind this belief are diverse. Certain scientists are studying evolution to make practical discoveries, such as developing new drugs or enhancing existing ones. What is Creationism in Korea?

The reasons for this aren't entirely clear, but could include religious beliefs or the absence of creation scientists in the country.
