The Lightest, Most Compact and Easiest to Fold Travel Strollers

Its simplicity may sacrifice a bit of durability compared to other models in this category, however.

2. Easy to fold

When you're on the go, your stroller has to be easy to open and close. It's a bit bigger than the umbrellas of the brand but is smaller than their G-Luxe or G-Link counterparts. It also comes with a shoulder strap that is cushioned.

3. Easy to store

The Contours Itsy travel stroller is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a compact, lightweight stroller. It's almost fully assembled out of the box and the only thing you need to do is put the bumper bar into place. It has a cup holder for the parent and a back pocket. However, it does not have an oversized basket. This may restrict your ability to carry essentials for long trips.

If you're a frequent traveler, we suggest you consider a more robust stroller that has better features and is able to hold more cargo. The UPPAbaby Mini for instance, comes with many of the G-Luxe or G-Link siblings however it's smaller and folds much faster. It's also slightly sturdier than an umbrella stroller, and it has a padded carrying strap to take some of the weight off your shoulders.

4. Confortable

Comfort is key when using strollers over long durations of time. Seats that have plenty of padding and a recline system that can be adjusted at various angles are ideal. Note if the canopy extends for sun protection and if the mesh windows encourage airflow. Look for a model with an organizer for parents and a cupholder as well as an ample basket under the seat if you need to carry things around. If you're looking for a travel stroller compact for older children, make sure to check the age range and consider whether your child is comfortable in the stroller without an infant car seat pram seat.

It is also important to consider the way a stroller moves. It should be able to move easily across a variety of surfaces, including smooth hardwoods, shag carpets, cobblestones and gravel.
