World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and enhancements.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.

The upgrade button is located on any item. Every item upgrader mod recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapon

When the weapon is upgraded it gains a base damage bonus and Item Upgrader mod an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects, while others offer additional features. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, or gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be upgraded but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved through the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool for an item upgrader mod.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that improves certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.

When the weapon reaches its maximum level of improvement, it can then be modified to give different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. All of these upgrades can be applied at once and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.

Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage that a weapon inflicts.

In general, it's best to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can improve your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats that are required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before any other gear, as this will increase DPS. This is particularly relevant for enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, such as more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as rewards for quests.

Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases the armor will be upgraded to the next level after an upgrade is applied. This is possible for most types of armor, but some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades increase the strength or defense of an item upgrader mod by a small amount. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant enhancements to defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an epic item.

In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, certain upgrades also offer specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For instance they can increase attack speed or block. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, like cutting down on the amount of damage sustained when wearing armor, or giving you a the chance to avoid attacks.

Upgrades to armor could require multiple attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77, and the list goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of the damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them valuable for certain builds. Additionally, there are ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to lower the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade item unlocks a brand new level of potion effects, and can be repeated for more potency levels.

The potion also has a custom color code, that the player can pick via /give, and that affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, mundane thick and awkward potions now have a brand new brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, which can be brewed by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket could be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag used to mark a boat's yard that is lateen. This can also refers to an gilded trinket connected to the mast of a vessel.

This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze which makes them more prevalent. The trinket, at the moment, makes all kinds of Xx of mimics more prevalent and gives every floor an Y% chance that it has an ebony copy. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of generating water and grass. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It will not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed weapons or Item Upgrader Mod armor, or other items that are created to aid in the elimination of danger rooms.

The item, which appears like a newt's eyes is believed to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond just narrowing your field of vision. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Heightened Senses.

After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reforge a Trinket multiple times as often as you like, but it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you first made it.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the trinkets power by a tiny amount.
