Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of a variety of flooring. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.

The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working efficiently. For this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.

This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled as required. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary in the application). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station if needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot hoover mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend across baseboards.

Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors and leaves a large space between obstacles. This can result in missing spots.

The app features a simple, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are excellent at removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach every speck of dust. It's important to vacuum regularly, once a week. This is especially important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed specifically for this purpose. It is easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, Best Robot Vacuum such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.

Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best automatic vacuum and mop vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic hoovers at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. It also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
