However, she believed this was offset by the fact that it is easy to maneuver and has plenty of storage, including two cup holders for parents and children as well as seat-back pockets and a large basket under the seat. Cher also appreciated that seats can be flipped so that they can be positioned to face each other, which is great for siblings who love to interact and talk when they are out and out and about.

A lighter, but equally impressive choice is the Delta Children LX side-by-side stroller that weighs just 18 lbs, is super compact and features an auto-standing fold that makes it easy to transport and put in your trunk or at home. Parents appreciate the quality of the materials and workmanship and the low price point. The only negatives are that the seats do not recline as well as other models we've tried and the rear seat isn't as prominent because of its position as it is higher than the front seat.

Another popular choice is the Joolz Geo 3, which is slim, sleek and easy to steer, with an attractive design and a lifetime guarantee. Although they are narrower than side-by-side strollers, they can be wider than tandems and inline doubles. This makes them difficult to maneuver around busy footpaths and in shops. They are also smaller which makes them more maneuverable in tight spaces.
