2. iRobot Roomba X30

It can also clean the floor even after it vacuums. This is a feature we haven't seen on other robot vacuum/mop combination.

3. Roomba X40 from iRobot

With an elegant circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competition's boxy units this mop and robot vacuum is one of the most attractive designs in our tests. iRobot's latest flagship model also is its most advanced and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads).

It's also the sole robot vacuum/mop to score an absolute 10 out of 10 in our evaluations. This is due to a combination high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, camera and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could fill and best robot hoover empty its basestation autonomously. It also boasted an industry-leading suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop mops.

The X40, like other iRobot products, is simple to operate. It comes with an easy mobile application interface and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The RX3 is more sophisticated than the price suggests. It has a great vacuuming performance, picking up 55% debris in our tests. (It was second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mopses with one pad that has a reciprocating motion that is cleaner than the other mop cleaners for robots we've tested. It's also highly self-sufficient, with a full-featured app and a self-emptying base that can be washed.

The iRobot application is designed to help you navigate an exercise in mapping that collects data on your floorplan, as well as any "no go" areas you've marked on the map. It can be used to design cleaning schedules, or to organize an automatic spot-clean. You can also use it to prioritize your dirtiest areas for best robot hoover greater efficiency.
