Aside from that blip however, this refrigerator is a great choice. It has a large freezer compartment that is not common for counter-depth French-door fridges. It also holds plenty of frozen food items compared to other models.

They're easy to open and close, however I found their textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The Ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces an ice pyramid with only a little water. This fridge is the perfect option for households with a single member or kitchenettes who want a sleek design and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This fridge was rated the best in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0°F and never changed more than a fraction - this is essential to avoid the risk of a freezer burn.
