Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our cleaning tests, and are able to handle different flooring. Select models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.

Many of the best models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes was unable to navigate down the stairs in one move. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.

The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of mops and robot mop vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend across baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one area to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large space between obstacles. This can lead to missing spots.
