The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a budget and don't require a stroller which can also be used as car seat carriers. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits in aeroplane overhead luggage. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made of Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The bent fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 frame and 6months of colour pack are combined to create a stylish pushchair with a subtle elegant look. The frame itself weighs less than a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do it using one hand).

It's also easy to add or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors like the hood for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 by clicking - as well as being machine washable to prevent stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be converted into a stroller at 6 months using the YOYO connect additional chassis.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend like other wagons we test. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a secondary stroller that is affordable. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our test of push and turn it performed better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doorways. The sunshades it has are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

It took us just under three minutes to put together the Delta using a standard manual. All of the components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features for a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to carry baby from birth up to around 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot by just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible baby carriage.

It's really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the massive shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out quickly. This narrow pushchair handled all day bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. On our walk through the stony trail, we let them move and it handled this fairly well, although it seemed a little bumpier than others in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is easy to use and folds small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we've tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It maneuvers expertly across different kinds of terrain, and it's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two children and a shopping bag.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are waterproof and strong unlike other prams' hoods that are turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies as big as 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to take a stroller with you on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

It also comes travel system equipped with the option to add a car seat and a carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes come with one action and are color coded. They also work with flip-flops.

This budget pushchair single is easy to operate and features an excellent dual suspension. It can be folded using just one hand, and comes with a handy carrying strap. It is also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best single travel stroller since it's not as silent as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be set so that they face each other. They can also be set to face the parents. This should reduce sibling arguments over who gets seated with mom and dad. It comes with a large bottle holder, gear tray snack tray, and the ability to change mats. It also has a superior compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents that like to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers you can get for your child. It comes with great safety features like five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It also features an innovative twist hand brake that's different from the lever type found on competing models.

The seat is comfortable and offers a large area to sit, but the seat's depth is less than other joggers we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is secured with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10 lbs. It is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as it comes, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters to most seats from brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The instruction manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
